Bangs and Bricks

Blouse - Thrifted
Cardigan - Thrifted
Skirt - Marshalls
Leggings - Walmart
Socks - Bass Shoe
Boots - Bass Shoe

This cardigan is by far my best thrifted find yet! I found it in the mens section at a hospital consignment shop, and I wear with almost everything. And this skirt! OH, the skirt. Even though I bought this many years, it still makes me feel like a little girl who loves to twirl in the middle of the street!

Christmas Is About Family!

My Outfit
Dress - Kohls
Vest - Mother's from her college days
Cardigan - Kohls
Leggings - Kohls
Red Heels - I forget (it was some little
shoe store near a hotel my mom and I stayed
at for a conference)

Because Christmas is about love and family, I thought I'd introduce mine! Although, I'm the oldest, I am the shortest out of us three girls. My dad is 6'6, so it's no surprise all of us got a little height. My mother is the one in the middle standing on the step. I got all my musical ability and fashion interest from her. Oh, and I can't forget about the love of my life! His name is Mr. Bousch and I promise, his eyes are really a lovely pale blue, not this freaky fire eye thing he has going on here!

My outfit was pretty simple. I love this little black dress I got from Kohls a couple years ago - I can pair it with anything and it always looks good. The glittery top adds a little touch of glam to the simplicity! A little black dress is definitely a staple for every girls closet. You can try it with a bright blazer with some little flats or a just wear it buy itself with some simple heels and a headband.

Leather and Lace

(Couldn't forget about these little gems!
Everyone needs a good pair of Christmas socks!)

Hat - H&M
Cami - Express
Blouse - Forever 21
Denim Button Down Shirt - Gift
Leather Vest - Thrifted
Lace Leggings - Kohls
Socks - Gift

After a long week of working at the restaurant, it was nice to dress up for my little sister's birthday. For some reason, I've been really into wearing cool black, which is different from my normal rich browns and neutrals. And after finding this leather vest the other day, I knew I wanted to wear it tonight! And who wouldn't love those reindeer socks! Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!

Oh How I LOVE the smell of THRIFT!

Today my sister's and I had a girl's only day! After running some errands for our mom and mailing some packages to a friend at the local postoffice, we headed up to a new thrift shop near our house. This place was huge! I was overwhelmed, and I am never overwhelmed when it comes to thrifting. Thankfully, I'm a professional, so after the initial shock of racks and racks of old oversized sweaters and dusty books, I got down to business. Honestly though, thrift shopping is one of my favorite things to do. For some reason, I find great pleasure in finding hidden treasures and putting together some great pieces for an eye-catching look. It's such a stress reliever! Above are some things I found today! It's nothing special, just a gold skinny belt, a leather vest, a denim jacket, and a precious brown satchel. I'm so proud of my discoveries!

Christmas Red

Blazer - Thrifted
Dress - Target
Tights - JC Penny
Boots - Boscovs
Watch - Gift from my mom
Bracelet - Gift also from my mom
Earrings - Mommy's - I think from Princess House back in the day
Ring with Ruby - Great Grandmother's
Baby Fat Ring - Gift from my mom - she doesn't know it's Baby Fat, she just thought it was a pretty kitty ring with lots of glitter - I love it!

Christmas is close, and what a better reason to wear your holiday red! I love how this blazer pops with the Dalmatian spots on the dress. It was a good choice for this brisk Sunday morn! Oh, and I know my poses are really bad, but come on, this is my first time doing this kind of thing. I'll get better. I promise.

This is ME!

Yes, I did just use a Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas song for the title of my first blog post, but regardless of the cheesy and adolescent beginnings, this blog is strictly for those intelligent individuals who enjoy wasting their precious time reading an extremely respectable college student's blog. That's me! So who am I?

Well, here are few interesting little tid bits about me that everyone really wants to know...

1. This is my first blog - oh my! This should be interesting.
2. I may be tiny bit sarcastic - ok, no no! I'm not! HA!
3. I am obsessed with my cat - with both have the same birthday! Isn't that so presh!
4. My feet look exactly like my dads.
5. I may or may not have a mild obsession with cheese.
6. I am currently watching 13 Going on 30. "Hey, you have arm hair." - hehe - gets me every time!
7. Piggybacking off of #6, I use a lot of random quotes from movies and songs in normal conversation.
8. I am in love with Tom Welling and anything Superman.
9. I wear a size 8 1/2 shoe.
10. I'm a sucker for cheesy Lifetime movies.
11. The majority of my wardrobe is from the wonderful world of thrift stores! Ahh, I'm addicted!

Welp, that's it for now, folks.

This is my sister and I. I'm on the left.

These are my two lovely sisters.
